Daniel Colman might not be the most poker that is beloved in the world, but he is certainly creating a case for being among the best, or a minumum of one of the hottest, this season. Of course there was any doubt as to simply how good a 2014 he had been having, Colman managed to get clear with his performance during the Seminole rough Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) Main Event this week.
Colman battled through a tough final table and then dominated in heads up play to win the SHRPO Main Event, along with a $1,446,710 prize that is first. It marks the time that is fourth has won a tournament rating of at least $1 million this year.
Big One for starters Drop Winner
The $1 million buy-in charity tournament held at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for those that don’t remember, Colman was the winner of this year’s Big One for One Drop. Colman gained notoriety not just for winning the tournament and its $15.3 million first reward, also for coming across unhappy (or, at the very least, uninterested) after winning. Later, he commented that he saw poker as ‘a very game that is dark and wasn’t enthusiastic about promoting his victories or the overall game it self.
